We had an amazing exhibition night on November 4th! Students worked together to plan and create our exhibition displays and presentation. It was so wonderful to see them come together and show such maturity in the way they took ownership of their exhibition. We displayed our individual project, entitled, "At This Moment I Am..." which is a self reflection on their identity and the influences in their lives. This writing piece was displayed with their clay self-portraits, created in Art with Ms. Tasi. We also displayed their group project, called the Tangram Puzzle. Each puzzle represents the six students who created it, and their contributions that they bring to the group. This was in collaboration with our Maker teacher, Ms. Carrie, who helped us with the laser cutter! We appreciate all the families and friends who came out to support us at Exhibition!
Last week, students presented their progress to families through Student Led Conferences (SLCs). Students thoughtfully reflected on their learning in various content areas and shared their areas of strength and struggles. It was great to see families and be able to connect with each one. In addition, Ms. Haden and Ms. Jones enjoyed delicious snacks and lunches throughout the week, thanks to our Room 14 parents! We hope you have a relaxing Thanksgiving Break, and we are so thankful for you and your children!
