The Fifth Grade Dance was off the hook! Although Ms. Jones was sick, she made it to the dance, and got to see some outstanding moves from all the students. People were not hesitant to get down and the group dances were a particularly big hit. A good time was had by all. Though she had to leave early, Ms. Jones did get the following photos and videos below.

Swimsuit (you’ll have time to change before we go)
Towel
Water bottle
Beach games and activities (boogie boards, frisbees, Smashball, etc.), but no water guns please
Drivers to and From Mission Bay Yacht Club:
So far, about 5 students have said they may need a ride back to school. Please email me to let me know if your child needs a ride to and from the yacht club.
Student Portfolios:
We sent home student portfolios today. The big binder contains assessments, student reflections, and project work. Please ask your child to share the contents with you. The other is their math binder, which contains all of the math work from this year.
POLs
Students have one more day of POLs. If you were unable to attend the POL, I videotaped it and have sent you a link. I have been impressed by students' ability to share their learning and even more so with the depth of the student panel's questions and celebrations.
